Last evening I attended Reebok’s EasyTone shoe launch party to preview it’s look, explore the shoe’s technology and check out the celebrity butts.
Glamour took a night off for many of the famed ladies like Mel B, Kendra Wilkinson, and Vanessa Minnillo who wore athletic attire and Reebok kicks instead of the usual glitz.
Although not everyone let high-end style fall to the wayside for the EasyTone event. Audrina Patridge from the reality TV show The Hills, looked ravishing in her Karl Lagerfeld ensemble and YSL sling back, platform pumps. Hands down the best dressed at the event, the neutral palette and edgy details of the outfit truly embodied a chic and cutting edge aura. It also confirms the adage overdressed is better than underdressed.
“Look underneath [at the black patent leather lining] it’s a little naughty too,” she said with a girly grin when I gave her high praise for the look. Karl Lagerfeld always did know how to make a girl feel elegant as well as naughty, no?
Besides fabulous fashion and toned celebs, the event included a shoe bar that allowed the women attending to experience the sneakers and discover the toning joys of EasyTone.
Reebok’s EasyTone technology allows women to work their butt up to 28% more effectively than by wearing an ordinary sneaker, just by doing everyday activities like walking the dog or shopping. It tones the butt and leg muscles by using advanced balance pods inside the shoe to create natural instability with every step. The micro-instability then forces muscles to adapt, and in doing so, have to work harder.
Viola, a work out without working out. No wonder all the butts were so pert there. Wink.
